It's still in the primary and I just took a sample. It is pretty good already, but will take a lot of time to clear up and funkify once I do transfer. Anyway, here's a link to when I brewed it, along with a shot of the pretty pellicle.

http://noaccountingfor.blogspot.com/2010/11/deviant-cable-car-bugfarm-4.htmljaymohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10932095714056834656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8066877917844499643.post-1342930621986639442010-01-29T13:33:38.404-05:002010-01-29T13:33:38.404-05:00It is a great beer. If we could brew a funky version of that, I'd be in heaven. The Mad Fermentationist (Mike)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07379932734747507258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8066877917844499643.post-33763666178368669702010-01-29T12:16:34.523-05:002010-01-29T12:16:34.523-05:00If you're looking for something really wild to...If you're looking for something really wild to try, and since you mentioned flowers... have you had the chance to try Southampton Publick House Cuvee des Fleurs? It's a saison brewed with rose water, lavender, chamomile, calendula, and of course, hops. I had a bottle last week and it was downright impressive. Perfect level and balance of floral flavors, one of the most sophisticated and remarkable beers I've ever tasted. It went great with some Indian lamb a friend cooked. I shared the bottle with four or five other people, and everyone was floored, both the beer geeky types and the normal crowd. I can't recommend it enough, and I'd love to brew something like it some day.McGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17882913331309023293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8066877917844499643.post-80365352069141529402010-01-27T00:20:00.731-05:002010-01-27T00:20:00.731-05:00Funny that you too had your manifold fall off the ...Funny that you too had your manifold fall off the valve.
